Founded in 2017 by Philma Kelegai, PNG Fashion Week is the country’s premier fashion platform, birthing some of the biggest names in the fashion and creative industry within Papua New Guinea.

PNG Fashion Week is more than a national platform, it is an internationally recognized brand which has a long standing relationship with the likes of Fiji Fashion Week and the Cairns Arts Indigenous Fair.

The platform has been integral to the growth of the fashion and creative industry, providing a stage for designers, opportunities for models and work for all those actively involved in the field of events.

PNG Fashion Week is proud to have a footprint that is present in three of the four regions of the country and intends to have a nationwide impact by the end of 2025.

As a platform, PNG Fashion Week is proud to be able to attest that it has evolved to be more than just a space that enables the growth of fashion and creativity but has also become a tool for positive social change.
