This opportunity has come about through the newly established partnership between PNG Fashion Week and Fiji Fashion Week allowing designers and models to take part in programs and events offered by the two platforms.

Miss Kelegai said as a leading fashion platform in the country, PNG Fashion Week is committed to elevating Papua New Guinean creatives and pushing them into such spaces where they will have access to global platforms, gain international perspectives and experiences within the fashion industry.

"As part of our ongoing commitment to growing and developing talents within the fashion and creative industry, we will continue to expose our people to high end fashion events where they push themselves further and continue to excel at what they do," Miss Kelegai said.

Miss Kelegai further added that Papua New Guinean designers will also have the opportunity to showcase their work on the Fiji Fashion Week Runway as of next year onwards.

Fiji Fashion Week is Fiji's national fashion platform and PNG Fashion Week is excited to participate at the national fashion platform as it will boost and contribute greatly to the success of PNG Fashion Week as the premier fashion platform in PNG.
